Change one thing, change everything

Sounds a bit facile, I know. But it turns out to be absolutely true.


The trick is to pick the right thing to change.


After a revelation while listening to a new podcast, I decided to make what felt at the time like a small tweak to my podcast format.


Since then, massive changes have swept through my life and my work, all of them overwhelmingly positive.


  • I have two wonderful new story coaching clients, one I'm helping write her book, one I'm helping start a podcast

  • I moved my office into the same room as my husband and partner for better collaboration

  • I rebranded my website and am revamping my entire business model

  • I have a much clearer vision

You are only one change away from transforming your life.

You're only one commitment away from making that change.


See, we humans love to complicate things. We think change is hard. That it takes time.


The truth is that change is instantaneous. It's habit that takes a while to change.


So making a commitment to creating a new habit that takes you in right direction, a habit that will lead you down the path toward becoming the person you truly want to be, is what will truly move the needle and change your life for the better.


The trick is to already be that person in your mind. To put yourself into your ideal world RIGHT NOW.


If you can experience that reality NOW, instead of trying to figure out how to get there, all you need to do is look back and figure out how you got there.
